I made this formula because I wanted one thing I could reach for without thinking. Face, lips, hands, a small cut, a scar — in one stick. No five-drawer situation. No guessing which product goes where. You push it up, you rub it on and you’re done.
It’s my grass-fed beef tallow, gently rendered here at Maison Frost. It soaks in rather than sitting on top of your skin.
Macerated for 3 months with Sea buckthorn berries — rich in omega-7, the fatty acid your skin’s barrier is made of. When your skin is dry or damaged, that’s the one that’s missing. This puts it back.
Rosa damascena rose buds — it cools. Reduces redness, soothes a small cut and a little irritation.
Vanilla pods — it calms, it’s antibacterial and it brightens the skin while leaving it with a sweet and lovely scent.
The beeswax is from a small beekeeper in the Pyrenees. Lab-tested, no pesticides. It protects the skin from pollution, weather and moisture loss and it smells divine.
This balm has Zero essential oils. Zero extracts. Zero additives. Zero synthetic preservatives — it’s just the tallow, the wax, and three whole plants, macerated gently for three months.
