Maison Frost is a small family-owned publishing house. We publish the blog www.holyhyggefood.com and are currently working to publish several books within the Niche: From Scratch/Slow Cooking/Baking, Non-Toxic Living & Natural Lifestyle.

Our aim is to share traditional knowledge, lost knowledge and to share knowledge of how to source and make slow-food, baking, natural remedies and skincare.

The kind that is created with love using consciously selected ingredients and from scratch. We also develop aesthetic learning materials, as we believe it is a scarce commodity in a time of AI and You tube Learners.

The most important thing for us is to share beautiful human-made content and physical publications that can create joy and help you become better at making important things like food, skin care and cleaning products from scratch, without additives and poison. We do not learn the important things in school today and have to seek out this type of knowledge ourselves later in life. Which is a shame, if we want the world to become better, we need to learn these important lessons on slow food, from scratch cooking, real baking and strive for a nontoxic lifestyle from an earlier age.

This is why we wish to publish within these niches. We believe making a change takes time, but it is possible if people can access what is needed. So that was the major reason why we decided to start publishing instead of selling our products.

After years of working with both real food, baked goods and natural skin care, We have decided to share the knowledge that we and others have found, within a graceful and aesthetic universe that can captivate the recipient on several levels.

We want our readers to feel at home in a natural lifestyle, even though it takes many years and a lot of dedication to create one, in a modernized world, there’s a lot to learn and unlearn. That’s why we develop educational materials, content and books that can be used by both children and adults on their journey towards a more natural and non-toxic lifestyle.
