We take your data seriously. This page tells you what we collect,
why, and what you can do about it. No fine print. No hiding.
We will never sell your data. We will never share it with anyone
we don’t have to. Your information stays with us, and only with us,
unless the law says otherwise.
This policy can change. The latest version is always on this page.
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you use our sites or the app, we sometimes collect information
about you. This can include:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your delivery address (for physical orders)
- Your phone number
- Purchase history
- How you move around our sites (pages visited, time spent)
We only collect what we need. Nothing more.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
We use your data for specific purposes, and only for those purposes:
- When you sign up as a user or customer: to manage your account
and process your order. - When you subscribe to our newsletter: to send it to you.
- When you buy something online: to fulfil the order and handle
accounting. - When you order a physical item: to pass your name, address,
email, or phone number to the courier who delivers it. - When you browse our sites: cookies track how the site is used.
This data contains no personal information and is used only to
improve the experience. See the Cookie section below.
In rare cases, the law may require us to share information with
public authorities or law enforcement (for example, in the event
of suspected credit card fraud).
THE APP (Declutter Friend)
The app is different from the websites. Here’s why:
- No account. No login. No cloud.
- Everything you do in the app — your rooms, your sell list, your
register, your photos — stays on your phone. Full stop. - We cannot see your data. We cannot access it. It doesn’t leave
your device. - The only exception: when you purchase the app, the transaction
is processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play)
through RevenueCat. RevenueCat verifies the purchase so the app
knows you’ve paid. They do not receive your rooms, your sell
list, or any content you create in the app. - If you export your data (the text file or the photo zip), that
file goes wherever you send it. We are not involved. - If you delete the app, all your data is gone. There is no
backup. There is no “recover.” The data was never anywhere
but your phone.
COOKIES
We use cookies on our websites. Here’s what for:
- WordPress: so you can read posts, use the contact form, leave
comments. - Google Fonts: so the site looks the way it should.
- Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube: to display pins,
posts, photos, and videos, and to share content to and from
social media. - SureCart: runs the shop. They process your order.
- Stripe: our payment processor. They handle payments securely.
They have access to payment information, not your browsing
history.
To manage cookies and related technologies (tracking pixels, web
beacons, etc.) and your consent, we use the consent tool “Real

The legal basis for processing personal data in this context is
Article 6(1)(c) GDPR and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate
interest is managing the cookies and related technologies and
the associated consent.
Providing personal data is neither contractually required nor
necessary for entering into a contract. You are not obliged to
provide the personal data. If you do not provide it, we will not
be able to manage your consent.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We delete your personal data when we no longer need it for the
purposes described above.
- Purchase data: kept for 5 years + the current year (accounting
requirement).
