I believe makeup should make your skin happy and unfortunately, that is seldom the case. So that’s why I decided to make these make-up balms. They are based on single origin tallow (moisturizing & skin protective), golden jojoba (adds slip & moisture protection), bees wax (humectant), rose petals (nourishing & skin boosting), vanilla beans (rich in antioxidants and vitamins B and E),sea buckthorn berries (improves skin elasticity & reduce fine lines), silk peptides (softens, protects against pollution & moisturizes), superfine French pink montmorillonite pink clay (balance), zinc oxide (UV protection), Zeolite (UV protection and skin healing), ethically sourced micas & LOVE.
I blend my colors using ethical micas (prime colors), floral powders, superfine french clays and zeolite. I try to blend colors that can be used by lighter & darker skin tones, so they will compliment your skin through the seasons. All make-up balms are handmade and artisan products that you can pre-order unless there is a batch surplus.
My make-up balms do not cover your skin. Since I do not like that look myself, I do not wish to make products that promote it. I never liked the look or feel of a powdered, chalky or covered face. But I do adore a dewy or natural look, where your natural and unique beauty will shine through. I believe healthy skin is something to strive for, instead of making up your face by covering it with unhealthy products.
Our skin needs to breathe and all we should do is to apply a little color, shimmer and light that compliments our god given beauty in a subtle way.
